RSHE statutory guidance

Dfe have recently announced the publication of the final RSHE statutory guidance:

This month the NSPCC and NEU published a press release with the following top findings:

  • Half of teachers said they lacked confidence to teach compulsory Relationships and Sex Education lessons just 16 months before the national roll-out
  • The curriculum was last updated over a generation ago before social media, sexting and online porn
  • NSPCC and NEU urgently calls on the Government to deliver face-to-face training, timetabled lessons and more funding for schools to support teacher
