Tenure – Three years with possibility of extension

Notice period – to allow the Association time to appoint a replacement, six months’ notice is required

Time Commitment- Highly variable from a simple change to extensive changes throughout the guide

·       1 day per year for general platform maintenance work

·       2-3* days per year on MG updates

subject to content changes

 

Main purposes of role –   Uploading revised MESHGuide submissions

·       Monitoring operational aspects of ²Ñ·¡³§±á³Ò³Ü¾±»å±ð²õÌý

·       Cataloguing index across all ²Ñ·¡³§±á³Ò³Ü¾±»å±ð²õÌý

·       Liaising with 91ԭƬ NEO about House Style for consistency.

 

Key tasks

  • Liaison with MG volunteer and 91ԭƬ NEO
  • Maintain summary of MG submissions revision dates.

Key Outcomes

  • MESH Guides are working without broken links.
  • The Deaf Ed MGs contain up-to-date information from deaf education practitioners, research findings.
  • The MG retain their place as a trusted publication on the MG catalogue
  • The professional knowledge and experience of the post holder is extended

Responsible for staff/equipment – N/A

Honorarium – £100 per day, based on a 5 hour day

Reporting to 91ԭƬ NEO and MESHGuide point of contact for Deaf Education guides (De Monfort University, Leicester)

  • QToD
  • Experienced practitioner across key stages
  • Knowledge and experience of MESHGuide platform software for editing, uploading etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills, writing ability, and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and liaise with a range of professionals
