- work with speech and language therapists (SLT) and teachers to develop use of augmented systems such as Picture Exchange Communication system (PECS)
- understand how the use of these systems relates to Deaf Children and Young People (DCYP)鈥檚 levels of deafness and other Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)/additional learning needs (ALN)
- help promote independent use of systems.
