Time CommitmentÌý

ÌýAttendance at meetings in person or virtual:Ìý

  • NEC x 4 per year Ìý
  • Steering group x 4 per year Ìý
  • AGM once per year Ìý
  • Others by agreement with Steering Group members with regard to Association Business.ÌýÌý
  • Regular and timely response to association related emailsÌý

Time commitment varies (depending on time of year) but usually requires weekly commitment of no more than an hour a week.Ìý

More to be expected if standing as Line Manager for the NEO.Ìý

The Honorary Past President shall be responsible forÌýÌý

  • supporting the role of PresidentÌý
  • supporting the President Elect in preparing for and understanding the requirements of the role of PresidentÌýÌý
  • facilitating the smooth transfer from President Elect to President through support and guidanceÌý
  • deputising for the President if necessaryÌý
  • liaising with members of SG, NEC and with the NEOÌýÌý
  • continuing to work on key and strategic areas from tenure as President as requiredÌý

  • Please note that as this is an elected post the holder is a fully participant member of the Steering Group and NEC.  Ìý
  • The post holder may therefore be required to undertake additional duties as a member of SG and NEC.  Ìý
  • These may include duties such as timely engagement with consultations, responses from SG or NEC, attendance at additional meetings and any other duties as required. Ìý
