6 years in total: elected for 2 years as President Elect, 2 years as President and 2 years as Past President.ÌýÌý

Entitled to remain on National Executive Council (NEC) for a further two years ex-officio (optional)Ìý

Notice period – to allow the Association time to appoint a replacement, six months notice is requiredÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

Time CommitmentÌý

Ìý

ÌýAttendance at meetings in person or virtual:Ìý

  • NEC x 4 per year Ìý
  • Steering group x 4 per year Ìý
  • AGM once per year Ìý
  • Others by agreement with Steering Group members with regard to Association Business including shadowing President.ÌýÌý
  • Regular meetings with President and NEOÌý
  • Regular and timely response to association related emailsÌý

Time commitment varies (depending on time of year) but usually requires weekly commitment of no more than an hour a week.Ìý

The Honorary President Elect shall be responsible forÌýÌý

  • shadowing the role of President,Ìý
  • deputising for the President if necessaryÌý
  • liaising with members of SG, NEC and with the NEOÌýÌý

In order to fully understand the requirements of the role of President and the way in which 91ԭƬ operates, in line with the Constitution and its aims.Ìý

  • Liaise with the National Executive Officer and other Steering Group membersÌý
  • Where possible, the President Elect will attend at least one meeting in each Region/Nation, during their term of office as President Elect and President, as agreed with the President (virtually where appropriate)Ìý
  • Deputise for the President when necessaryÌý
