 6 years in total: elected for 2 years as President Elect, 2 years as President and 2 years as Past President.听听

Entitled to remain on National Executive Council (NEC) for a further two years ex-officio (optional)听

Notice period 鈥� to allow the Association time to appoint a replacement, six months notice is required听听听听听
Time Commitment听

 听Attendance at meetings in person or virtual:听

  • NEC x 4 per year鈥�听
  • Steering group x 4 per year鈥�听
  • AGM once per year鈥�听
  • Others by agreement with Steering Group members with regard to Association Business鈥痠ncluding shadowing President.听听
  • Regular meetings with President and NEO听
  • Regular and timely response to association related emails听

听

Time commitment varies (depending on time of year) but usually requires weekly commitment of no more than an hour a week.听
Main purposes of role听

 The Honorary President Elect shall be responsible for听听

  • shadowing the role of President,听
  • deputising for the President if necessary听
  • liaising with members of SG, NEC and with the NEO听听

听

In order to fully understand the requirements of the role of President and the way in which 91原片 operates, in line with the Constitution and its aims.听

Key tasks听听

  • Liaise with the National Executive Officer and other Steering Group members听
  • Where possible, the President Elect will attend at least one meeting in each Region/Nation, during their term of office as President Elect and President, as agreed with the President (virtually where appropriate)听
  • Deputise for the President when necessary听

  • Secure understanding of the way 91原片 works and the roles and responsibilities within 91原片听
